Wei Zhong is an associate attorney at Chen & Lee’s Sacramento office. She handles personal injury and civil litigation matters, including medical malpractice, unlawful detainer and breach of contract. Ms. Zhong was admitted to practice in 2010 to the State Bar of California. She was a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, the Sacramento County Bar Association and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
Prior to joining Chen & Lee, Ms. Zhong worked as a civil litigation attorney handling medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability and business litigation matters at Rhames & Associates. Ms. Zhong also worked at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles in the Asian Pacific Islander Community Outreach Unit, where she helped monolingual Chinese clients with their immigration, family and landlord tenant law matters. She was also a certified law clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Major Crimes Unit, conducting preliminary hearings on felony drug matters and working on high profile murder cases. Ms. Zhong graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor degree in Philosophy and Business Economics. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California.
As an associate attorney at Chen & Lee, Ms. Zhong is responsible for all aspects of civil litigation matters. Committed to public interest, she volunteers her time at community based pro-bono legal clinics. Ms. Zhong understands that lawsuits and litigations are daunting for foreign immigrants and investors. She is committed to assisting her clients through the American legal system. Ms. Zhong is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.
